i was checking out a few Miata parts and the product info was easy to understand. the specs and fitment notes helped me feel like i wasn't just guessing. a few pages could definitely use more photos or a little extra detail, but overall it made shopping simple. not perfect, but it was a good experience.

"Fair prices on Miata parts"
I thought the prices for the Miata parts were reasonable compared to other sites I checked. Nothing looked ridiculously marked up, which is always a relief when shopping for car stuff. I’d definitely order from them again

"Solid parts, tiny scuff of course"
The parts feel solid and fit my Miata just fine, so no real complaints there. One of the trim pieces did show up with a small scuff, because apparently that’s just part of the experience, but it wasn’t bad enough to deal with a return. Overall, the quality is good and I’d probably order again.

"Customer service was okay, but could be quicker"
To be fair, they did eventually answer my question and were helpful enough once they got back to me. I just had to wait longer than I expected, and it took a couple of emails to get everything sorted out. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, but it did feel a bit slow

"Helpful email reply before ordering"
I emailed Moss Miata because I wasn’t totally sure if a part would fit my NA, and they got back to me quickly.
The reply felt like it came from an actual person who understood what I was asking, not just some generic copy-and-paste answer. A friend had mentioned they were good to deal with, and this definitely matched that.
They also pointed out one small detail I probably would’ve missed before placing the order, which saved me some hassle. I really appreciated the help and would order from them again

"Restoration parts were limited"
I was trying to track down some basic restoration parts for an older Miata, the selection just wasn’t there. A lot of the little trim pieces and random odds and ends I needed were either missing, buried, or not listed at all, which got old fast.
I know not every site can carry everything, but this felt like a simple thing to expect from a Miata parts place. I ended up having to bounce around to other sites to finish my list, so it was more frustrating than helpful for what I needed

"Part arrived damaged"
The box showed up beat up, and the trim piece had a crack in it. They did help get things sorted out, but I was hoping for a faster response. Shipping definitely could have been handled better.

I wasn’t expecting it to show up so fast, but it got here way earlier than I figured it would. Shipping was smooth too, no problems at all. Can’t be the only one who loves when that happens, right?

"Not exactly a Miata mod paradise"
I was hoping to find a decent range of aftermarket stuff for my Miata, but the selection was limited. They had a few basics, sure, which is great if your dream build is apparently 'whatever happens to be in stock.' Just not enough options for what I was actually looking for.

"Backorder updates were exhausting"
I ordered a part that looked fine at first, but after checkout it suddenly showed as backordered. That was frustrating enough, especially because I wouldn’t have bothered ordering if I’d known that upfront.
The worst part was trying to get updates. I had to keep reaching out myself, and the responses were always vague with no real ship date or clear answer. After a while it just left me feeling mentally drained.
I understand backorders happen, but the communication needs to be better. Just be upfront and keep people in the loop. I probably wouldn’t order again unless I knew for sure the item was actually in stock.
"Works when it wants to, I guess"
The whole order felt a little sketchy from the start, and when I reached out to support, they didn’t really make me feel any better about it. It’s one of those things that seems like it works when it wants to, which is frustrating. Not sure I’d trust it again.

"Got resolved after a bit of waiting"
They sent me the wrong part at first, which was annoying, and I was wondering if anyone else had run into the same thing. Support did get it sorted in the end, but it took a few days to fix. Overall, not perfect, but they did make it right.

"Order wasn’t quite right"
My Moss Miata order showed up fast, which was nice, but one part wasn’t the right one and a small item was missing. Customer support did get it sorted out eventually, but it feels like you always have to check every little thing with orders like this. Kind of annoying, but at least they fixed it

"Good packaging, maybe a bit overdone"
I ordered a few Miata parts from mossmiata.com and the packaging was solid, everything got here in good shape with no scratches or bent pieces or anything like that, the only thing is the box felt kind of bulky for what was inside and there was a lot of padding, maybe more than needed, so it seemed a little wasteful but I’d still rather deal with that than open up a box of broken parts. Overall happy with it, 4 stars.
"Had a hard time figuring the site out"
I was trying to look around on Moss Miata for some parts, and I got frustrated quick. The pages felt kind of crowded, and without much explanation in some places, I wasn’t always sure if I was even looking at the right thing. The search didn’t really narrow it down in a way that helped me much either.
The site also seemed a little slow for me, and by the time I got near checkout, I started second-guessing the item I had picked. Maybe I was missing something, but I didn’t feel confident enough to finish the order. For a parts site, I just expected it to be easier to follow.

I’ve bought from them a few times and used to be happy, but lately the service has sorta been going downhill. It’s disappointing because I really wanted to keep being a loyal customer.

"Inventory was a little hit or miss"
I ordered a couple of Miata parts sometime last week, or maybe the week before, that were listed as in stock on the site. After checkout, one of them turned out to be backordered. Customer service did reach out quickly to let me know, so it wasn’t a huge deal, just kind of annoying when the inventory online isn’t totally up to date.

Well... I had to send a part back, and the process was easy overall. It did take a few days to get a response, but the refund came through without any problems. No major complaints from me.
